Five Mission Forge ops that out-design some of ours, with codes to fly them tonight and a note on what makes each one work.
The Mission Forge editor has been out for two seasons and the community has produced more playable content than the studio has in three years. Most of it is terrible, which is fine and expected. Some of it is so good we checked the author's account twice to confirm they weren't a ringer. These five are the ones we keep coming back to.
A two-ridge escort by PILOT_KELPIE that puts you in an unarmed scout shepherding a damaged Titan through a valley under searchlights. It teaches light discipline better than our own tutorial does, and the finale forces a choice that actually hurts.
Code ASHFALL-2291. Play it at night with headphones.
A remix of our canyon op with twice the SAMs, a moving storm cell, and no checkpoints. It should be impossible and instead it's the most replayed community op this month, because the author hid three alternate routes through the rock.
Code SERPENT-7731. Bring double flares and a forgiving attitude toward your own mortality.
The best community ops teach us mechanics we didn't know the editor could express.
A vertical op on the carrier deck where you have ninety seconds per floor to clear gun emplacements while the deck pitches in swell. It uses the editor's trigger volumes in a way our documentation never described, and the author refuses to explain how.
Code IRON-4418. The time pressure is the whole game here.
The Forge editor is in the game under Create. Snap terrain blocks, paint trigger volumes, place the threats, then test-fly until it stops being a draft. The curator team plays everything rated above a threshold, and the weekly spotlight puts a code in front of every active pilot.
The two other picks this month: Reefline (REEF-9027), a littoral op with the best use of fog we've seen, and Dust Echo (DUST-1180), a pure time-attack with no enemies that somehow makes landing terrifying.
Open the Forge browser in-game, tap Import, and paste the code. The op downloads in seconds and appears in your custom tab.
Not directly, but spotlighted creators get livery commissions, early build access, and several have been hired into the studio's Theatre Squad.
Completion rate above 70%, a mechanic used in a way we haven't seen, and honest difficulty. Ops that cheese the rating system get filtered quickly.
Patch notes, tactics and community ops every Friday. Subscribe on the dispatch page or grab the game free on Google Play.
